The Parliament Reveals Plans Regarding Bank Secrecy.
The head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danilo Hetmantsev, categorically refused to consider the issue of disclosing bank secrecy in the current session of parliament. He made this statement during the podcast 'Chronicles of Economics'.
Hetmantsev stated that the issue of disclosing banking secrets will not be discussed at this time. 'We will not disclose bank secrecy in this session for sure,' he emphasized.
The politician explained that the Ministry of Finance's proposal concerns three years, and he hopes that the work of this session will end sooner. Thus, the possibility of disclosing bank secrecy remains to be considered in future parliamentary meetings.
