Real are disappointed with Lunin's game this season.
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin received an unsatisfactory rating from Real Madrid due to his game not meeting expectations. This was reported by sport.ua.
In the current season, Lunin has played three times for the team in La Liga matches. This became possible due to the injury of the main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. The team secured one victory and suffered two defeats in these matches, the goalkeeper conceded five goals.
According to club statistics, Lunin's goal has been scored 11 times this season, and he has made only six saves. Thus, the goalkeeper's effectiveness stands at 54%. Last season, this figure was 75%.
The Real Madrid management did not hide their disappointment with the Ukrainian goalkeeper's game, taking these figures into account.
Recall that during the "Ballon d'Or 2024" ceremony, Atletico's goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was recognized as the best in the world.
It is also worth noting that Manchester City's player Rodrigo Hernandez Cascante, known as Rodri, received the "Ballon d'Or" and was named the best footballer in the world 2024.
