Fight in a Poltava restaurant between visitors, among whom was a policeman
In one of the restaurants in Poltava, a fight occurred between visitors, resulting in one of the men sustaining bodily injuries. This man was an employee of law enforcement agencies. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region.
A criminal proceeding was opened on the fact of the bodily injuries, and the materials were sent to the State Bureau of Investigation. The police also initiated their own internal investigation. The employee who was in the restaurant during the conflict was suspended from duty.
According to the information from 'Suspilne', the deputy head of the criminal police department of the Lubensky district police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region, Oleksandr Pereli, became a participant in the fight. The victim was a Kyiv resident who defended his girlfriend, whom he was visiting.
Earlier in Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained an attacker who stabbed a man with a knife during a quarrel. To avoid responsibility, the attacker changed his appearance by shaving his beard and hair on his head.
