U.S. election administrators and Kamala Harris's campaign condemned Donald Trump's threats to imprison 'corrupt' election commission members in the event of his victory on November 5.

According to Reuters, administrators and Harris's campaign accused Trump of intimidation and incitement to violence. This followed his latest social media post where he threatened to hold election commission leaders accountable for election result fraud.

In his post, Trump asserted that he would pursue lawyers, political figures, donors, illegal voters, and corrupt election officials. He emphasized that such legal actions have not been seen in the U.S. before.

Trump also reiterated his claims of fraud in the 2020 election results that led to his defeat. He also accused election commission leaders of collusion.

Trump's statements have angered some election administrators. Democrat Adrian Fontes stated that this is tyranny and could lead to political violence. Republican Seth Bluestein emphasized that election commission members would focus on their duties and are ready for threats of violence.

Harris's campaign representative, Ammar Moussa, called Trump's comments 'extreme and abnormal,' while Jocelyn Benson insisted that the goal is to ensure fair and accurate elections.

Such threats from Trump could deter volunteers from working the elections, feared Mikella Gaff, head of the election campaign in Surry County, North Carolina.
