Former U.S. President Donald Trump does not plan to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky in the U.S. this week. This was informed by Trump's team.
A representative of Trump's campaign informed AP about this.
During his speech in Savannah, Georgia, Trump mocked frequent statements by President Joe Biden about U.S. support for the Ukrainian armed forces until Kyiv's victory in the war.
He reminded of two historical events to show that Moscow will not lose: the role of the former Soviet Union in defeating Adolf Hitler and the Nazis during World War II in the 1940s, and the failed invasion of Russia by French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte over a century ago.
