Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Russia confirmed its readiness to hold a third round of negotiations with Ukraine. According to him, he received this information during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. 'The Russians stated that they are ready for the third round of negotiations. Now we are waiting for a response from the Ukrainian side, our contacts with them are ongoing,' explained Fidan.
At the same time, the Turkish minister emphasized that the Russian side set certain conditions for the start of the negotiation process. Moscow wishes for 'a number of issues to be resolved before the negotiations begin,' he added.
