The First EU-Ukraine Investment Conference is taking place in Warsaw.
The EU-Ukraine Investment Conference is taking place in Warsaw at the IV International ReBuild Ukraine Exhibition.
During the conference, the EU calls for expressions of interest to attract private investments in critically important sectors to support Ukraine's recovery efforts, the Ministry of Economy reports.
Companies from the EU are invited to submit proposals by March 1, 2025. Proposals will be reviewed and linked to the most relevant investment projects funded by the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) with a budget of 50 billion euros.
'This is an important step in attracting investments for the recovery of Ukraine. We are grateful to our partners for the opportunity to remind the international business community that war is not an embargo on investments,' said Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
The EU-Ukraine Investment Conference is the first event of its kind organized jointly by the European Commission and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The purpose of the conference is to attract direct investments for reconstruction and recovery projects in Ukraine.
On November 14, specialized seminars will be held dedicated to attracting direct foreign investment from the EU to Ukraine, expanding the capabilities of private capital, insuring against war risks, Ukraine's accession to the EU, business conditions in Ukraine, as well as logistics and trade.
The EU-Ukraine Investment Conference is taking place at the IV International ReBuild Ukraine Exhibition in Warsaw, which brought together over 5,500 participants, including nearly 500 companies from over 30 countries. The aim of the exhibition is to support the recovery, reconstruction, and modernization of Ukraine.
