The head of the Hungarian party 'Tisa', Peter Madyar, reported on the unsuccessful referendum regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union. His remarks regarding manipulations by the authorities and the expenditure of state funds on the campaign seem very well-founded.
'This is the lowest indicator in the entire 'glorious' history of National Consultations. And this was 'achieved' only after several months of total mobilization and burning tens of billions of state money. A complete failure,' emphasized Madyar.
There is also a question about the insufficient participation of citizens in the voting process, which indicates the general disinterest of society in the discussed topic. Perhaps the government campaign indeed did not bring the expected results due to a lack of openness and information for citizens.
