Rain in the western regions on September 12: where to expect cooling.
According to inkorr.com: Meteorologist Natalia Didenko shared information about the weather conditions in Ukraine for Friday, September 12. She published the information on her Facebook page.
According to her, on Friday, rains will occur only in the western regions of the country. Other parts—the north, center, east, and south—will remain under the influence of dry air.
'The anticyclone in the northeast blocks the transfer of humid Atlantic air masses, so these rains hover over the west without moving east. The temperature distribution is fascinating—take a look at the forecast map!', the meteorologist noted.
In the eastern regions and coastal areas, the temperature will be comfortable—during the day, +22+24 degrees is expected. In the central regions, it will be very warm—+24+28 degrees, although in Vinnytsia, the temperature might drop to +20+23 degrees. In the south, clear weather with a temperature of +24+28 degrees will prevail, but in southern Odesa, it will be unexpectedly cooler—+22+26 degrees. In the northern regions, thermometers will show +24+27 degrees, while in Zhytomyr and Sumy regions, the temperature may range from +19 to +22 degrees.
Temperature picture in Ukraine
'The most interesting temperature situation will be in the western part of Ukraine—a strip stretching from Volyn, Rivne through Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk region up to Chernivtsi region—cold weather (see map) is expected +16+19 degrees, however, in Transcarpathia and some areas of Lviv region, +23+25 degrees will prevail,' Didenko warned.
In Kyiv, no rains are forecasted for September 12, although due to the proximity of a humid air mass, the sky may be overcast. This will create a feeling that it is cooler than the actual thermometer readings—+23 degrees is expected in the capital.
'Meanwhile, we bake a lot of charlottes, there are enough apples, the hens are laying eggs, flour is available (don't forget to sift), electricity is in the ovens, cinnamon is ground or in sticks, sugar is present, and apples are said to be best Antonivka or Symyrenka—firmer and sourer. We buy, gather apples, share photos of our charlottes, appreciate the nice weather, and don’t complain about the rain in the west—it’s normal in autumn, they will be there, and the sun will shine again,' the meteorologist added.
In summary, Didenko noted that rains and significant temperature fluctuations are forecasted in Ukraine, especially in the western regions. Meanwhile, the weather in Kyiv will remain drier. It is worth enjoying the autumn days while the rains persist only in the west.
