The First Lady of Ukraine met with the First Lady of Turkey

Olena Zelenska met with Emine Erdogan, the First Lady of Turkey, in Ankara. This was reported by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

During the meeting, Olena Zelenska thanked Emine Erdogan for supporting Ukraine, particularly for participating in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen and assisting in the evacuation of Ukrainian children from orphanages.

Olena Zelenska also visited the National Presidential Library of Turkey, which is one of the largest in the world. She donated books as part of the 'Ukrainian Book Shelves' project, which provides access to over 50 thousand Ukrainian books in 200 countries worldwide.

At the meeting, Olena Zelenska was dressed in a dark brown suit, consisting of a jacket, wide pants, and a black shirt with a white print. She also wore jewelry in the form of hoop earrings and brooches with a map of Ukraine.

Support for Ukraine from Turkey

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, declared support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the future. He also noted that Turkey is ready for peace negotiations with Russia.
