Attack on the Sofia Community Area

According to Novyny.live: On July 3, Russian forces launched an assault on the Sofia community in the Kryvyi Rih district, killing one person and injuring five others. This incident is yet another example of the relentless attacks on civilian infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a area that has faced repeated shelling throughout the conflict.

Among the wounded are three civilians currently in critical condition. They are:

  • A 59-year-old man
  • A 38-year-old man
  • A 50-year-old woman

Additionally, a 63-year-old man sustained moderate injuries, while a 36-year-old woman suffered minor wounds. The overall condition of the injured remains serious, and medical teams are providing essential care.

Regional Situation

Earlier in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a strike on a civilian enterprise resulted in the deaths of six residents. Meanwhile, a combined missile and drone attack on the Sumy region claimed five lives, including a newborn infant.

Oleksandr Hanzha reported the shelling, highlighting the ongoing severity of the situation in an area where Russian military assaults occur almost daily.

This event further underscores the deteriorating conditions in Ukraine, particularly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where civilian sites are frequently targeted. These attacks on non-combatants lead to severe humanitarian consequences and emphasize the urgent need for international support to protect innocent lives. Given the latest developments, it is critical for the global community to remain focused on the crisis in Ukraine and take action to halt the aggression.
