Russia struck a school in Dnipropetrovsk region with a KAB bomb: the future of 450 children is destroyed.
According to ТСН: On the night of November 29, the Russian army struck the largest educational institution of the Mezhiv community – Mezhiv Lyceum No. 1 in the Synelnykiv district of Dnipropetrovsk region.
This event was reported by the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council on Telegram.
“The place where about 450 children learned every day, discovered the world, made friends, dreamed, and gained knowledge... is now completely destroyed,”
it is stated in the message. The Department also emphasized that this is not just the destruction of a building, but also the ruin of the future, children’s dreams, and hopes.
“The aggressor country destroys not only walls but also those little worlds where our future grows,”
the publication notes. Attention was also drawn to the fact that Russia has begun serial production of new aviation bombs with the UMPK module, capable of hitting targets up to 200 kilometers away. According to Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of the GUR, these munitions, known as “Hrim-1” or “Hrim-2,” have increased resistance to jamming. This provides Russian aircraft the ability to strike major cities in Ukraine, such as Dnipro, without entering the range of Ukrainian air defense.
This event again underscores the ruthlessness of war, which not only destroys infrastructure but also deprives children of the opportunity to learn and dream. In the context of intensified attacks on civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian society faces serious challenges but continues to fight for its future and recovery.
