Operations by Ukraine’s Defense Forces

According to Novyny.live: On March 27, Ukraine’s defense forces launched attacks on Russian military assets in Crimea and the Donetsk region. These operations successfully struck strategic targets, including the 'Valdai' radar system, a command post, and ammunition depots.

The assault on Crimea was a key focus of the operation. Specifically, the 'Valdai' radar complex was hit. Additionally, a ground control station for 'Forpost' drones located in Yevpatoria came under fire. These actions highlight the intensification of Ukrainian efforts in response to enemy military activity in the area.

Attacks in the Donetsk Region

Further strikes targeted positions in the Donetsk region. The following were attacked:

  • a Russian command post near the settlement of Olhynka;
  • ammunition storage sites near Mangush;
  • logistics and supply depots in Rybynske, Donetsk region;
  • warehouses in Novoselivka, Zaporizhzhia region;
  • a Russian 'Bastion' coastal missile system.

Another critical target was a concentration of enemy personnel near Dorozhnye in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region. Strikes were also carried out on facilities in Sevastopol linked to the repair of air defense systems.

It is worth noting that on March 17, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces similarly hit military objectives in occupied Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia region. These operations underscore the sustained activity of Ukrainian forces in countering Russian aggression across multiple fronts, including in occupied territories.

These strikes reflect Ukraine’s strategic goal of diminishing Russia’s military capabilities in occupied areas and securing its own borders. The stepped-up actions by Ukrainian troops in Crimea and Donbas may signal preparations for further phases of confrontation, as well as Ukraine’s intent to continue operations aimed at regaining control over its territory.
