According to UATV: On July 20, Russian forces launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, killing one man and injuring 17 others. The strike occurred around 11:00 AM when aerial bombs hit a garage cooperative compound. The blast wave demolished the garages and damaged nearby vehicles.

The explosion claimed the life of one man. Additionally, people were trapped under rubble following an assault on a residential building, including an 11-year-old girl who was in the kitchen at the moment of the blast. Her mother, Kateryna, recounted:

“My daughter was sitting in the kitchen. They dug her out for five or six hours, but unfortunately, they couldn’t save her.”

Aftermath of the Explosion

The blast also shattered windows and damaged balconies in a neighboring building. Seventeen individuals sustained various injuries, including shrapnel wounds, bruises, and head trauma, and are currently hospitalized.
