Ukraine Strikes Russian Military Logistics: Warehouses and Troop Concentrations Hit.
Strikes on Russian Occupiers' Military Logistics Infrastructure
According to UATV: On March 15, 2023, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces conducted strikes against the military logistics infrastructure of Russian occupying forces. These operations targeted multiple regions, including Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson oblasts. This offensive aims to degrade the supply chains and troop concentrations that enable Russian combat operations.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the following were hit:
- a material and technical supply warehouse in Osypenko;
- a storage facility for unmanned aerial vehicles near Prymorsk.
These strikes are designed to destroy resources used by the occupiers to sustain their military activities.
Furthermore, in the Kharkiv region, strikes targeted areas of concentrated enemy personnel near Kupiansk. Additional attacks occurred in Donetsk, specifically in Shakhovo, Udachne, and Pokrovsk, where enemy troop concentrations were also noted. In the Kherson region, a strike was carried out in the area of Petrivka.
Ukraine's Defense Strategy
These actions are part of the broader strategy of Ukraine's Defense Forces to weaken the aggressor's military capabilities.
Attacks on enemy military infrastructure signal an intensification of frontline combat operations and Ukraine's efforts to reduce Russia's logistical capacity. This is a key component of the ongoing struggle to regain control over territories seized during the invasion.
The effectiveness of such strikes can significantly influence the course of the war, particularly by impairing the enemy's ability to conduct offensive operations.
