Attack on Ivano-Frankivsk

According to Novyny.live: On March 24, Russian forces launched a drone strike on the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The attack claimed the lives of two people: a National Guard serviceman and his infant daughter. Four others were wounded, including a six-year-old child. The strike also damaged the city and regional maternity hospitals, as well as roughly ten residential buildings.

Official response and aftermath

Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv addressed the tragedy, stating:

He also confirmed that compensation for damages would be provided from the city budget. Regarding the condition of a young boy currently hospitalized, Martsinkiv noted that 'his condition is stable and there is no threat to his life.'
