Europe Uses Ukraine as a Buffer Zone: Berlinska on the Price of Time for the EU.
According to ТСН: European politicians see Ukraine as a 'buffer zone' that restrains Russian aggression. While the war continues and Ukrainians are dying, Europe has time to rearm and prepare for a potential conflict with the aggressor.
This was stated by the head of the Center for Aviation Reconnaissance Support and the Victory Drones project, Maria Berlinska, in an interview with the 'Moseychuk Plus' project.
'Ukraine is regarded as a kind of fence, as a buffer zone. They are buying time with the lives of our people,' she noted.
Berlinska emphasized that Europe is rearming and learning based on Ukrainian technologies used in combat.
'Not a week goes by without military attaches, representatives of major European corporations, representatives of large technological corporations, senior military officials coming to me and our team. They are queuing for information, analytics, etc.,' Berlinska noted.
It is worth noting that the EU has made a decision on joint borrowing for Ukraine for a total of 90 billion euros. This is an interest-free loan that Ukraine will only need to repay after the Russian Federation pays reparations.
An interesting aspect of this situation is that supporting Ukraine is not only strategically important for Europe, but also opens up new opportunities for the development of Ukrainian technologies and cooperation with European partners. Observing these events, one can notice how international support for Ukraine, as well as its technological progress, come in handy for strengthening positions on the European stage.
