Ukraine Moves Closer to EU Defense Frameworks

According to UATV: Ukraine and the European Union are deepening their defense cooperation, aiming to integrate Ukraine’s defense industrial base into Europe’s broader military infrastructure. The EU has recently approved AGILE, a new €115 million investment program focused on defense innovation. Under this initiative, Ukraine will participate as an associate member without having to pay any membership fees.

European Parliament member Serhiy Lahodynskyi highlighted the significance of the program, noting that while the funding is modest, it opens doors for emerging technologies and startups that can serve defense purposes.
