Ukraine and Japan launch medical project: 3D prosthetics and exoskeletons.
According to inkorr.com: A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). During this discussion, aspects of cooperation within the framework of the new project 'Green Industrial Recovery Project for Ukraine', which is being implemented with the support of Japan, were emphasized.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation aimed at restoring Ukraine's industrial potential while considering environmental safety and sustainable economic growth. The initiative involves the transfer of modern technologies and the creation of new enterprises in cooperation with private companies from Japan.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that one of the main priorities of the project is the development of medical technologies, in particular the introduction of 3D-printed prosthetics, exoskeletons, and mobile medical complexes in Ukraine. These innovations will help respond quickly to the needs of the healthcare system in wartime and contribute to the development of high technology in the country.
UNIDO Support and Plans
The 'Green Industrial Recovery Project for Ukraine' is important for UNIDO and the most significant among other initiatives being implemented in Ukraine. This project is part of an overall portfolio of 13 initiatives funded by international donors. The organization confirmed its readiness for further consultations with the Ukrainian government, supporting the establishment of new enterprises and coordinating all stages of implementation for the successful execution of the Ukrainian project.
It was also emphasized the importance of cooperation with UNIDO for the recovery of the industry and the development of medical technologies in Ukraine, focusing on green recovery and providing modern technologies to improve healthcare conditions in the country.
This project not only promotes technical progress in Ukraine but also creates new opportunities for raising the standards of medical care.
