Ukraine is relocating drone and missile production to Poland: details of the agreement.
According to ТСН: Ukraine has initiated the process of relocating part of its drone and missile production to Poland.
This was stated by the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radek Sikorski, in an interview with TVP World.
Cooperation with Poland
He emphasized that Poland has already contributed to 48 batches of Western weapons supply for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now Ukraine, in turn, is also opening its production capacities in Poland.
Future defense projects
Sikorski also announced plans for implementing new defense projects under the EU SAFE program.
“We are using a secure EU mechanism under which 44 billion euros will be spent to strengthen the defense industry. Some projects will be implemented with European partners as well as with Ukraine,” he said.
Recall that earlier Kyrylo Budanov shared a pessimistic forecast regarding potential missile-drone strikes from Russia.
These measures highlight the active cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in the field of defense, which is becoming increasingly relevant in light of current challenges. The relocation of production may be an important step in strengthening the defense capabilities of both countries, as well as attracting investment for the development of new technologies in the military field.
