Ukraine and Croatia to Start Joint Production of Weapons: Deal Details.
According to inkorr.com: The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, and the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Defense of Croatia, Ivan Anushtic, signed a Letter of Intent that facilitates the deepening of cooperation in the defense sector. They agreed on joint production and cooperation in this area.
'I thanked Croatia for the 13 packages of military assistance worth over €200 million. We expect the 14th package of assistance shortly and the 15th by the end of this year,' noted Denys Shmyhal.
The parties also discussed opportunities for joint participation in the SAFE mechanism and involving Croatia in the PURL initiative. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine emphasized the importance of Croatian experience in the Coalition's demining efforts and in the joint production of FPV drones.
Thus, Ukraine and Croatia are strengthening military cooperation through the signing of the Letter of Intent, which envisages joint production and cooperation. Both sides also discussed military assistance, participation in international initiatives, and the development of new technologies in the defense sector.
