Operations by Ukraine's Defense Forces

According to UATV: On April 1, Ukraine's General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that its defense forces had carried out strikes against enemy assets both in Russia's Bryansk region and within Ukraine itself—specifically in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Luhansk regions. These operations mark a continued effort to disrupt Russian military capabilities.

A key target was the AO 'Strela' enterprise in the Bryansk region, a facility that manufactures components for cruise missiles. In addition, strikes hit drone control centers in Zaliznychne and Dolyntsi, Zaporizhzhia region. The military also attacked a command observation post near Uspenivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Targets and Consequences of the Strikes

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the strikes focused on concentrations of enemy personnel near Sosnivka and a logistics depot in the Akymivka area. Furthermore, strikes were directed at a concentration of weapons and military equipment in Novosvitlivka, a temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region. Notably, on March 10, Ukraine had already used Storm Shadow missiles to target the 'Kremniy El' plant in Bryansk.

These attacks are part of Ukraine's broader strategy to dismantle the enemy's military infrastructure, potentially significantly hindering its combat capabilities. A crucial objective is also to deplete the stockpiles of weapons and equipment used by Russian forces. Such actions may indicate a shift in Ukraine's tactical response to aggression, placing greater emphasis on critical facilities that sustain the enemy's military operations.
