According to FREEДOM: In 1991, we already had the Declaration of State Sovereignty and the Act of Independence. And in December, citizens almost unanimously supported independence in a referendum.

And now Ukraine is on the path of war, as experts assure us. Putin's imperial dreams are huge, but Ukrainians still have hope. The harsh struggle for statehood continues, and every similar visit from high-ranking officials is not just a visual spectacle, but support and solidarity.

Russia must ultimately choose - to transform or once again become a threat. And we all need to resist, so as not to prove to ourselves once again the heavy burden of hardship.
