Europe is ramping up diplomatic and military efforts without Russia's involvement

According to FREEДOM: According to expert Igor Popov from the analytical center 'United Ukraine', the Ukrainian political and military leadership are having difficult negotiations with each country to obtain maximum security guarantees. Ukraine views Western countries as security guarantors while considering Russia as a risk factor.

'Europe, we see, has not gone on vacation, and the military and political leaderships of European countries are communicating with each other, communicating with Ukraine, the United States, discussing all these issues. Regarding the military component, discussions on security are being held in the air, in the Black Sea, and on land'

European countries are discussing security in the Black Sea, providing infrastructure for coalition forces and establishing new formats for supporting Ukraine. Currently, Kyiv continues its struggle for real security guarantees, not considering Russia as a partner, but rather as a risk factor.

'Ukraine is grateful to Romania for being a country with access to the Black Sea, ready to provide its airfields for coalition forces to be based, which will also patrol at least the Black Sea, and at most parts of the airspace of Ukraine'

According to the analyst, Romanian infrastructure was used in previous years as a base for some American units that were patrolling the Black Sea. Ukraine is also actively working on a diplomatic path to obtain security guarantees from Western allies.

It is reminded that according to military analyst and fighter of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine Alexander Musienko, the conditions for real negotiations are that military actions must first be unblocked, so the parties can find diplomatic solutions. However, Russia opposes a truce, creating an illusion of a negotiation process.

The post suggests that Ukraine views Western countries as security guarantors while perceiving Russia solely as a risk factor, — Popov initially appeared on Freedom.

During the ongoing conflict situation in Ukraine, Europe and its allies are intensifying efforts to ensure the country's security without Russia's participation. This strategy includes diplomatic negotiations, security at sea and land, and new forms of cooperation with European countries such as Romania. Ukraine continues to seek real security guarantees from its western allies, leaving Russia out of this process.
