Ukrainians will move the clock to winter time for the last time in 2024
Ukrainians were told when the clock will switch to winter time this year. This is written by "Khvilya".
In 2024, Ukrainians will move the clock to winter time for the last time. This will happen on October 27 at 4 a.m., when the clock hands need to be moved back one hour. After that, this practice will cease in Ukraine.
This decision was made by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in June 2024. Previously, the clock was moved twice a year - in spring and autumn. Now this will not happen.
The abolition of the clock change will undoubtedly affect the lives of Ukrainians. However, this time during the switch to winter time, people will still be able to enjoy an extra hour of sleep.
Thus, after switching to winter time in 2024, Ukraine will remain in the GMT+2 time zone.
It should be noted that to mitigate the impact of the last switch to winter time, specialists recommend starting preparation a few days before October 27, 2024. They advise going to bed a little earlier than usual, avoiding alcohol and smoking. It is useful to spend more time outdoors, engage in walks and meditation, drink herbal or green teas, and try to be less nervous.
As a reminder, the National Bank showed how much Ukrainians spend with cards in stores and online.
