Ukraine’s Defense Operations in Occupied Territories

According to UATV: On March 27, 2023, Ukraine’s Defense Forces launched strikes against Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia. The operations aimed to destroy critical enemy military infrastructure and reduce their combat capabilities. This marks a continued effort by Ukraine to weaken Russian positions in these areas.

Primary Targets Hit

The strikes targeted several key assets, including:

  • the 'Valday' radar system near Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea;
  • a ground control station for 'Forpost' drones in Yevpatoria;
  • a command post near Olhynka;
  • an ammunition depot near Mangush in temporarily occupied Donetsk;
  • supply depots near Rybynske in Donetsk and Novoselivka in Zaporizhzhia.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck an area where Russian personnel were concentrated near Dorozhnie in occupied Donetsk. It is worth noting that on March 26, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated 1,000 Russian occupiers.

Since the conflict began, the following have been destroyed:

  • over 2,200 tactical-level drones;
  • approximately 70 artillery systems;
  • 217 units of enemy vehicles.

These actions highlight the intensification of Ukraine’s military operations and their goal to diminish enemy power in occupied territories. In the ongoing conflict, such strikes could significantly impact Russian logistics and combat effectiveness, potentially altering the dynamics of military engagements in the region. Importantly, the Ukrainian army continues to hold the initiative by targeting strategically vital enemy assets.
