Ukraine Increases Arms Production: Which Systems Have Entered Serial Production.
Arms Production in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Ukraine is actively expanding its arms and ammunition production, aiming to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers. In an interview with BBC, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavryliuk, reported that the country has made significant progress in producing various types of weapons, including drones, artillery shells, and armored vehicles.
Support from the USA
Although some components are still purchased abroad, Ukraine is actively working to increase its own production. Special attention is being paid to anti-aircraft missile systems and requests for long-range missiles. It is worth noting that US Vice President Jay D. Vance supported the consideration of Ukrainian requests for military assistance.
Possible Strategies in Confrontation
General Gavryliuk also emphasized that potential missile strikes deep into Russia could prompt Moscow to consider diplomatic solutions to the conflict, as the costs of continuing the war for them will be increasing.
This move indicates Ukraine's intention to strengthen its defense capabilities and reduce dependence on external assistance amid a prolonged confrontation. The development of domestic arms production could significantly impact strategies in the region and ensure a more stable defense of the state.
