If vacations are not used, employees, including civil servants (except for local government employees), will receive monetary compensation for all unused days, but first, they must use 24 vacation days.
It is recommended to plan vacations in advance and consult with the HR department regarding the use of accrued vacation days. Civil servants must adhere to the new legislative requirements.
In 2025, Ukrainian employees will be able to use unused annual vacation days in the future or receive monetary compensation for them. The conditions for their use and compensation are regulated by law and require clarification from the HR department.

It is important to know that the new rules apply not only to general employees but also to civil servants, which adds additional responsibility for planning vacations at the beginning of the year.
