According to Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian government has approved a draft law aimed at amending the country's Administrative Code. The main goal of this initiative is to introduce penalties for unauthorized entry to military facilities.

According to inkorr.com:

New fines for violations

At the government meeting on September 3, ministers made a decision to introduce a new Article 186-9 to the Code of Administrative Offenses. This new provision will establish legal responsibility for illegal entry to military facilities.

  • Individuals will be held liable for unauthorized entry to military facilities;
  • for the repeated commission of such an offense within a year;
  • for committing such acts in conditions of a special period.

Amount of fines and sanctions

For these violations, financial penalties are provided in the range from 500 to 3000 untaxed minimums (from 8.5 to 51 thousand hryvnias). In addition, the confiscation of items used during the offense is planned. Cases will be reviewed by judges of local courts of various levels.

Thus, the government of Ukraine is implementing new fines for unauthorized entry to military territories. The maximum fine can reach 51 thousand hryvnias. The new article of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for punishment for various types of violations, including unauthorized entry to military facilities and actions under conditions of a special period.
