Increase in Registration of Used Cars in Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: In September 2025, according to the 'Ukravtoprom' association, Ukrainians registered over 23.3 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad. This is 37% more compared to the same month last year and exceeds August's figures by 3%.

The majority of this segment consists of gasoline cars, which occupy 45% of the market. Next are electric cars with a share of 29%, diesel cars — 18%, hybrids — 5%, and cars with gas cylinder equipment — 3%. The average age of cars registered in Ukraine is 8.4 years.

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainians have purchased 181.8 thousand used passenger cars from abroad, which is 3% more than in the first nine months of 2024.

In September 2025, Ukrainians actively registered used cars imported from abroad. Gasoline cars remain leaders in this segment, but the demand for electric cars and hybrid vehicles remains high. This indicates that Ukrainians are increasingly shifting their preferences towards environmentally friendly technologies, while the market for used cars demonstrates stable, albeit gradual, growth.
