Ukrainians from two regions will be able to receive international aid: conditions.
The International Charitable Foundation "Caritas" provided 1.5 million euros in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine. The decision to allocate funds was made as a result of the cooperation between "Caritas Germany" and "Caritas Ukraine" with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany (GFFO).
These funds will be used to support the medical infrastructure in Ukraine and provide financial assistance to about 2,800 people from vulnerable categories of the population.
It is planned to spend almost 400 thousand euros of this amount on the purchase of medical equipment for a children's medical center in Lviv, which has been functioning as an evacuation center for children with serious illnesses affected by the war for over two years. It was here that children who were receiving treatment in Kyiv's "Okhmatdyt" before the Russian missile strike were brought.
The remaining funds will be used to support families who have become victims of Russia's armed aggression and live in front-line territories of the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
It was also announced the distribution of food packages in Ukraine. Information about the addresses for obtaining them can be found in the relevant section.
