Agribusiness Grants of Up to $1,470 for Ukrainians: Who Qualifies.
Agricultural Support Grants
According to Novyny.live: Starting in March 2026, Ukrainians can apply for grants from the charitable organization 'Caritas-Spes Ukraine' aimed at bolstering the agricultural sector. The funding amounts range from $1,250 to $1,470. These grants are specifically designed for internally displaced persons currently residing in the Volyn region.
How the Grant Funds Can Be Used
The grants support two primary areas: crop farming and livestock raising. For crop farming, applicants may receive up to $1,240 (equivalent to 55,000 UAH), while livestock projects can qualify for up to $1,470 (equivalent to 65,000 UAH). Recipients can allocate the funds toward various expenses, including:
- purchasing seeds;
- fertilizers;
- animal feed;
- young livestock;
- repairs;
- veterinary services.
To be eligible, applicants must meet specific conditions. Key requirements include owning or leasing a land plot of 0.15 to 2 hectares and having prior experience in agriculture. Participants must also derive their income from farming activities and must not have received any similar support within the last six months. Additionally, individuals cannot be registered as private entrepreneurs or agribusinesses. Interested candidates need to complete a preliminary registration form.
This grant program, launching in March 2026, aims to strengthen local agriculture and offer internally displaced people new opportunities for growth. It represents a significant step toward revitalizing rural economies affected by the conflict and fostering employment among vulnerable populations. Beyond providing financial aid, these grants can help recipients build valuable skills in the agricultural sector.
