The European Union has announced the allocation of 148 million euros for humanitarian projects in Ukraine and for Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.

'The aggressive war of Russia continues to impact Ukraine, where about 12.7 million people need immediate assistance. 'This funding will be used to provide emergency assistance, including food, housing, clean water, healthcare, and protection from winter. The main priority is to support vulnerable groups in areas of eastern and southern Ukraine heavily affected by the war', - the European Commission reported.

Additionally, 8 million euros will be allocated for humanitarian projects in Moldova.
