Ukrainians will be able to receive Zelensky's thousand through Ukrposhta: details.
The Ministry of Economy is developing a mechanism for receiving eSupport payments through Ukrposhta branches for citizens who do not have access to "Diia". The program will start on December 1, 2024, and provides for the payment of 1000 hryvnias to each citizen, except for those who are abroad.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the number of socially vulnerable citizens has increased due to the war, so the president and government want to support every Ukrainian. The mechanism of the "eSupport" program will be universal so that all citizens of the country from all categories can receive funds.
"We cannot predict where exactly people will need help the most due to Russian shelling. The exception will be only citizens who have gone abroad," the ministry said.
Thus, every person will be able to receive assistance, including children. A father or mother will be able to order a payment to their account for each of their children.
The possibility of receiving eSupport funds through Ukrposhta branches for citizens who do not have smartphones and access to "Diia" is also being considered. These funds will not be taxed.
The "eSupport" program is not one-Time and is intended for a certain period, as during COVID. Applications to participate in the program can be submitted during December, January, or February through Diia by activating the National Cashback card. The funds will be paid to this card and can be spent during 2025 on utilities, medicines, books, or donations to funds that support the Defense Forces.
