Ukraine expects improvement in electricity supply situation

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on energy issues, Yuriy Boyko, reported that the situation with electricity supply in the country will significantly improve in the coming months. On the air of "Kyiv24", he noted that Ukraine has now entered a period when electricity generation in the system has increased, and consumption has decreased due to a drop in temperature.

"We have now entered a period where electricity generation in the system has increased, the temperature has dropped, and accordingly, consumption has decreased," explained the advisor.

He noted that Ukraine's energy system depends on weather conditions, and the current decrease in heat allows the system to remain in relative balance.

"If there are no external impacts, we will remain in this relative balance... This means that if restrictions arise on some days, they will be insignificant... We should live for at least the next three months," Boyko assured.

It should be noted that earlier Ukrainians were explained what allowed the improvement in the energy situation.
