Natalia Zharkova secures her third gold medal at the freediving world championship
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian athlete Natalia Zharkova has once again amazed the world with her achievements in freediving, winning her third gold medal. This time, she took first place in the constant weight with fins discipline, together with Italian Alessia Zecchini, reaching a depth of 105 meters.
Thus, Natalia Zharkova became the best in all three events she participated in.
Another Ukrainian athlete, Kateryna Sadurska, finished in 11th place with a result of 83 meters. The Ukrainian team also participated in the European Youth Olympic Festival, where they took 10th place, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Achievements of Ukrainian athletes on various stages
Athletes at the World Summer Universiade in Germany brought 12 medals to the Ukrainian team: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. The Ukrainian team ranked 14th in the overall medal standings. One of the bronze medals was won by Mykola Rushchak from Sumy in the 20-kilometer race walk.
Among the most successful events in which Ukraine won medals were judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
The situation in the sports world demonstrates that Ukrainian athletes are making their mark on international stages, showing excellent results and readiness to fight for victory in various sports. This confirms the great potential of young athletes in Ukraine and their significant reserve for further achievements.
