Up to 12,000 Hryvnias Per Child: New Payout Rules for Ukrainian Mothers of Two.
Ukraine's 'eNursery' Financial Support Program
According to Novyny.live: Starting March 4, 2026, women in Ukraine who raise two children and return to full-time employment can receive monthly payments under the eNursery program for each child separately. This initiative is designed to ease mothers' transition back into the workforce while ensuring proper childcare arrangements.
Eligibility and Payment Conditions
The eNursery benefit is available to mothers of two children. Financial support is provided from the month following the child's first birthday up to and including the age of three. The monthly payment amounts are as follows:
- 8,000 hryvnias per child without disabilities;
- 12,000 hryvnias per child with a disability.
These funds are strictly designated for specific purposes: they can only be used to pay for a caregiver, a nanny, or a daycare center. This ensures the money directly supports the children's needs. To apply, women can register at local offices of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Administrative Service Centers (TsNAPs), or municipal executive bodies.
This measure is part of a broader Ukrainian government strategy to support families with children and boost women's labor force participation. Given the challenges mothers face in balancing work and childcare, the eNursery financial aid is expected to become a key tool for improving their well-being and family stability. It may also help grow the childcare services market, an important development for modern society.
