Bronze medals for Ukrainian badminton players at the tournament in Poland
According to inkorr.com: Sofia Lavrova and Raia Almalha performed successfully at the 'Polish International 2025 presented by YONEX' international tournament in Krakow, winning bronze medals. In the doubles category, they defeated Polish teams twice but could not reach the final, taking third place.
In addition, the Ukrainian team performed successfully at the European Youth Olympic Festival, where they finished in 10th place. Overall, the athletes won 23 medals (5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze), making this performance the second most successful in the history of the festivals in Ukraine.
The best sport was judo. Our athletes won six medals, including bronze in the mixed team tournament.
Recently, the World Summer Universiade took place in Germany, where the Ukrainian team won 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. On the last day of the competition, Mykola Rushchak won a bronze medal in race walking at a distance of 20 kilometers.
