According to the FBU report, the new season of the men's basketball Superleague will start on October 3. This season, the number of participants will increase to ten teams, with eight that took part last season supplemented by the finalists of the Higher League.
According to inkorr.com: In this year's regular championship, the competition will take place in three rounds. Then, the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. The games will be held in a 'bubble' format, with the main game days planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Favbet Superleague matches will take place in cities where there are permits from OVA.
Schedule of the first games and venues
The first bubbles of the new Superleague season will be held in Cherkasy and Kyiv:
- On October 3-4, Cherkasy Monkeys, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv Falcons will compete in Cherkasy.
- The bubble start will begin at the capital's PS Veneto, where Kyiv-Basket, Rivne, Kryvbas, and Niko-Basket will play.
The second round is scheduled to be held in Lutsk and Mykolaiv on October 11-12, while the third round will take place in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia on October 18-19.
