According to UATV: On June 7, Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale assault on Ukraine, deploying 236 attack drones of various models, including the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody. Ukrainian air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 215 of these unmanned aerial vehicles, according to preliminary reports.

The attack resulted in 17 drones striking 13 separate locations. Debris from downed UAVs fell across nine sites. Authorities logged the initial report of the assault at 08:30. Citing the Armed Forces of Ukraine,

“According to preliminary data, air defense units shot down or neutralized 215 enemy UAVs.”
