Ukrainian agricultural producers will receive 150 million UAH for equipment: who can expect compensation.
Project details
In June, applications for compensation for equipment costs were submitted by 412 agricultural producers, to whom these funds will be allocated. The program is part of the policy to support producers 'Made in Ukraine'. Among the equipment eligible for compensation are tractors, trailers, transportation and storage equipment, soil cultivation machinery, irrigation systems, and more.
June became one of the most active months in the program: over 400 agricultural enterprises submitted applications for compensation for 888 units of equipment. This means additional orders for machine-building plants, new jobs, and more modern equipment for farmers. The additional 700 million hryvnias allocated by the government in July will allow funding for another 3 thousand applications. Both agricultural producers who grow products and agri-processing enterprises can submit them," noted the Minister of Economy, Environmental Protection, and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev.
How to benefit from the program
The 25% compensation is provided for agricultural machinery and equipment with at least 60% Ukrainian components. The list of equipment with localization is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy. To participate in the program, you must be registered in the State Agricultural Register (DAR), choose equipment from the official list on the Ministry of Economy's website, purchase it, and submit an application through an authorized bank. Producers also have the opportunity to include their products in the list by contacting the Ministry of Economy.
The previous initiative for compensating 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment supports the development of production in Ukraine, stimulates new orders for factories, and creates additional jobs in agriculture. The new program expands opportunities for agricultural producers and agri-processing enterprises to receive compensation and modernize their equipment.Read also
