First Video Released of Ukraine’s Own Guided Aerial Bombs Being Deployed

According to Espreso.tv: For the first time, the Ukrainian aviation community 'Sonyashnyk' has released footage showing the use of domestically manufactured guided aerial bombs (GABs). This marks a significant milestone in showcasing the growing capabilities of Ukraine’s air force on the front lines, where 204 enemy combat engagements have been recorded. To provide context, these bombs represent a key advancement in Ukraine’s ability to strike precision targets without relying solely on foreign-supplied munitions.

Official data indicates that 51 shelling incidents targeted populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, with 6 of those carried out using multiple launch rocket systems. Enemy assaults occurred across several axes, including:

  • South-Slobozhanskyi axis – 13 assaults
  • Lymanskyi axis – 11 attacks
  • Kupyanskyi axis – 1 assault
  • Kramatorskyi axis – 1 enemy assault
  • Kostiantynivskyi axis – 14 attacks
  • Pokrovskyi axis – 32 attacks
  • Huliaipilskyi axis – 18 attacks

Meanwhile, no combat engagements were reported on the Orikhivskyi and Prydniprovskyi axes.

Additionally, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes, carried out 48 aerial attacks, dropped 160 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,037 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,140 artillery shellings. The 'Sonyashnyk' community stated:

'Our aces in their upgraded MiG-29s obliterated enemy positions along with personnel and ammunition using Ukrainian-made bombs.'
