Ukrainian air defense systems successfully shot down 118 of these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The drone types involved included the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and imitation drones known as 'Parody'. This marks one of the most significant aerial assaults in recent weeks, highlighting the ongoing threat to Ukrainian infrastructure and civilians.

Additionally, on June 22, a 77-year-old woman was killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and nine others were injured. Continued Aggression and Civilian Toll
These events underscore Russia's persistent aggression and the relentless efforts of Ukrainian forces to counter airborne threats. The heavy strikes on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast demonstrate that the conflict remains highly active, with the local population bearing severe consequences. This situation reinforces the critical need for continued support and strengthening of Ukraine's air defense systems amid the constant danger posed by Russian military operations.
