According to UATV: A Ukrainian drone struck a bridge near Chongar on June 7, causing damage to the structure that links the occupied part of Kherson region with Crimea. As a result, traffic through the 'Dzhankoi' checkpoint was temporarily suspended.
The operation behind this attack was coordinated by the joint center 'Falanga' of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo and the 475th Separate Assault Regiment 'CODE 9.2'. The equipment used included the Fire Point system and the 'Behemoth' unmanned aerial vehicle. Operation commander Oleksandr Nastenko stated that
“the operation was planned and executed”.
Route Control and Ongoing Operations
Operators from the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment established control over a section of the Melitopol–Chongar route. Additionally, operators from the 413th 'Raid' Regiment struck two Russian military locomotives, highlighting continued Ukrainian force activity in the area.
