The Ukrainian bus market is changing: used imports increased by 50%.
According to inkorr.com: In October 2025, 225 new buses were registered in Ukraine, including minibuses, which is 5% less compared to October 2024, reported Ukravtoprom.
The share of new buses in total sales was 49%, while last year this figure was 57%. This indicates a growing presence of imported used buses in the Ukrainian market.
Leaders in new bus sales in October:
- Ataman – 39 units
- ZAZ – 29 units
- Etalon – 14 units
Most popular imported used buses:
- Mercedes-Benz – 45 units
- Sor – 21 units
- Volkswagen – 11 units
Since the beginning of the year, 2113 buses have been registered in Ukraine, which is 28% more than the same period in 2024.
Among them: - new – 1046 units (+12%) - used – 1067 units (+50%)
Notable growth in used bus imports (+50%) indicates a high demand for more affordable equipment in the context of wartime and limited budgets for transport companies.
Although the Ukrainian fleet is gradually being replenished with new buses, analysis shows a growing popularity of imported used vehicles. This reflects trends in the choices of transport companies and their capabilities.
