Ukrainian Special Forces Destroy Russian Su-24 Bomber: 54 Combat Clashes in a Single Day.

According to UATV: On July 16, 2023, Ukrainian defense forces engaged in 54 combat clashes with Russian troops along the front line. Military reports indicate that the heaviest Russian assaults occurred in the Slavyansk direction, with 13 engagements recorded. In the Pokrovsk direction, 12 attacks took place, while on the Kostiantynivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 assaults.
During these operations, Ukrainian special forces successfully destroyed a Russian Su-24 bomber. Over the past 24 hours, 1,340 Russian occupiers were eliminated, marking a significant blow to the aggressor. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, total Russian military losses have exceeded 1,424,000 personnel.
Additionally, in recent days, Ukrainian forces have destroyed:
- 3 Russian tanks
- 2 armored fighting vehicles
- Nearly 60 artillery systems
- 12 ground robotic complexes
- Over 400 units of automotive equipment
Comments from Ukrainian Military Representatives
Commenting on the front-line situation, Oleksandr Pyvnenko, a representative of the National Guard of Ukraine, stated:
“Units of the First Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov' and the Second Corps of the NGU 'Khartia' are also effectively carrying out combat missions at ranges exceeding 100 km.”
Serhiy Bratchuk, addressing the situation in Kostiantynivka, emphasized:
“I want to stress right away: there is no question of Russian control, let alone a full capture of Kostiantynivka, today.”
He further added that 'today, a Russian assault soldier or infantryman on the battlefield, during assault operations, lives approximately 15-20 minutes,' highlighting the challenging circumstances for Russian troops.
Thus, the situation on the front remains tense, with ongoing combat clashes and significant losses on both sides. Ukrainian defense forces continue to actively execute their missions, striving to contain Russian aggression.
