Ukrhydrometcenter warned of rain and thunderstorms: where to expect bad weather this week.

According to inkorr.com: Forecasters have warned Ukrainians about the possibility of rainy weather and indicated the regions where precipitation is expected. The press service of the Ukrhydrometcenter reported that this week Ukraine will have predominantly warm weather, but rain with thunderstorms is expected in the southern and western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions.

Forecast for the coming days

• September 10 - short-term rains and thunderstorms in the southern regions;
• September 11-12 - these phenomena will continue in the western regions;
• September 12 - local precipitation is also possible in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions, again in some places with thunderstorms.

On Thursday, western regions are expected to experience intense rains of moderate strength, significant in some places, with strong gusts of wind reaching 15-20 m/s. In other regions of the country, no precipitation is expected.

Temperature forecast

Air temperature at night will fluctuate within 10-18 degrees, and during the day it will rise to 22-28 degrees. On Thursday in the western regions, and on Friday throughout Ukraine excluding the southeast, daytime temperatures are expected to drop by 3-5 degrees.

In Kyiv on September 10, no precipitation is forecasted, at night the temperature will be 14-16 degrees, and during the day it will rise to 24-26 degrees. The wind will be easterly at a speed of 5-10 m/s. On September 11-12 in the capital, there will also be no rain, but it will be a bit cooler: at night +12...+14 degrees, during the day up to +24 degrees. The wind will change to southeast with the same speed.

According to forecasters, rainy weather with thunderstorms is expected in Ukraine this week, mainly in the southern and western regions. Air temperature will also drop by 3-5 degrees, especially in the western regions. Be prepared for changes in the weather and dress appropriately!
