Ukrenergo Recommends: How to Consume Electricity to Avoid Outages.

The National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" announced that July 30, 2024, was the first day in July without power outages. More of such days or evening-only restrictions are expected in August-October if there are no massive attacks.

The improvement in the situation is associated with an increase in energy production after the repair of two blocks at nuclear power plants and a decrease in consumption due to the cooling of the weather.

The best situation in the power system is observed from 11:00 to 15:00 when solar power plants operate efficiently. In the morning and evening, more energy is needed to cover consumption.

Ukrenergo recommends shifting the use of powerful electrical appliances to the period from 11:00 to 15:00 daily to reduce the load on the power system and extend the period without outages.

The company warns that the situation may change due to Russian attacks and weather conditions. Repair teams are preparing power plants for the winter.

Ukrenergo emphasizes that the careful use of electricity will determine the success of the next heating season.

The head of Ukrenergo urgently addressed Ukrainians about the state of the power system.
