According to Novyny.live: Ukraine will shift to daylight saving time on the night of March 29, moving clocks forward by one hour at 3:00 AM. In response, Ukrzaliznytsia has issued guidance for passengers planning train journeys during this period.
All Ukrzaliznytsia trains will operate on the adjusted time, which has been incorporated into the updated schedule. Travelers are urged to stay mindful of the time change to avoid any confusion during their trips.
Discounts for Students and Vulnerable Groups
Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia is offering a 50% discount for students traveling in platskart cars and second-class seats on Intercity+ trains. This discount applies from October 1 to May 15 for specific passenger categories, including:
- Victims of Nazi persecution;
- Individuals with war-related disabilities (Groups I, II, or III);
- Parents of fallen, deceased, or missing military personnel;
- Companions accompanying individuals with Group I disabilities;
- World War II veterans aged 85 and older.
