Ukrzaliznytsia presents new features in the app.
The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has started implementing new features for users of its app. Now it is possible to transfer tickets between accounts by creating a passenger profile with their full name and phone number. This information will be automatically verified by the system to match the data in the account and on the ticket.
'Purchased tickets will be automatically displayed in the passenger's account, and accumulated 'hugs' for the trip will be credited to them. It is important to verify that the provided data matches the information in the account - the system automatically checks their compliance,' the company representatives say.
The new app update adds the ability to specify gender and date of birth. The company plans to use this data to personalize greetings on special and festive days.
Also, now 'hugs' will be credited for children's tickets. This means that parents traveling with children will receive 'hugs' for each purchased children's ticket.
Additionally, the company has implemented convenient navigation in the loyalty program 'Iron Friends'. New categories will simplify the search for offers for children, leisure, health, veteran business, and brands that produce products and operate in the country.
The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has also introduced a new menu with full meals for passengers. The new menu will be tested on the longest routes throughout this week.
In addition to innovations for passengers, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is also proposing to the Ministry of Regional Development to index tariffs for freight transportation by 37% to obtain additional profits. However, the implementation of this decision depends on the Cabinet of Ministers and may have negative implications for jobs and the competitiveness of products.
